A two-day course aims to help attendees who are either entering or currently working in the public or private sector in the area of road construction and maintenance
Attend this course and learn about:
- Various aspects of road construction and maintenance from commencement to completion of building a road and the importance of maintenance thereafter
- The technical elements, quality assurance, systems, processes, new technology and sustainability
- Different types of surfaces used in road construction, defects, rehabilitation and materials of surfaces used in road construction and maintenance

The course is aimed at (but not limited to):
- Staff working in the industry with very little experience or who are about to become involved in road construction and maintenance projects
- Candidate engineers, technologist and technicians
- Experienced personnel looking for a refresher course in road construction and maintenance
CPD
This course is accredited with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) and carries two CPD credits.
Please note the following requirements for online courses:
- Delegates are responsible to ensure that they have sufficient data to cover the full duration of the online course.
- According to the ECSA requirements for online training, a compulsory online assessment must be completed.
- The pass mark for the test is 75%.
